Get ready for a rugby league showdown like no other! The 2026 Harvey Norman All Stars is back in Aotearoa New Zealand, and it’s bigger and more thrilling than ever! This annual cultural extravaganza marks the 15th edition of the event, kicking off the 2026 Rugby League calendar with a bang. But here’s where it gets even more exciting: the clash of titans between Indigenous and Māori talent promises to be nothing short of spectacular.
On Sunday, 15 February, FMG Stadium Waikato will host both the Men’s and Women’s fixtures, showcasing some of the sport’s brightest stars. In the Men’s game, Indigenous legends like Josh Addo-Carr, Nicho Hynes, and Jack Wighton will face off against the Māori powerhouse led by Warriors captain James Fisher-Harris, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, and the electrifying Casey McLean. And this is the part most people miss—the Women’s match is equally unmissable, featuring Titans superstar Jaime Chapman and Dragons playmaker Taliah Fuimaono for the Indigenous side, squaring up against Warriors recruit Gayle Broughton and Eels powerhouse Kennedy Cherrington for the Māori team.
But here’s the controversial part: While the on-field action is undeniable, some fans argue that the real magic lies in the cultural significance of the event. Is this just another rugby league game, or is it a celebration of heritage and unity? We’ll let you decide.
Adding to the excitement, the event will also feature a high-octane clash between the Indigenous and Māori Touch Football teams. Below are the squads, listed alphabetically for your convenience:
